ARMOX Duty pro is our type 2 brake pad. The pads in this range have
undergone the same rigorous and stringent testing procedures as you would
expect from all ARMOX products. They offer safety and performance you can

ARMOX | Brake Rotors

Maintain strong and controlled brake power with a disc rotor that’s more
durable under heavy pressure and last longer. Disc rotors that are no longer
fully functional will appear rusted or have visible grooves. Premium condition
disc rotors will have a smooth and dent free surface and be without dust,
grooves or grit. The sounds of squeaking or grinding are another excellent
indication that the disc rotor is no longer fully functional. A grinding sound
may also be evident if the rotors have become twisted or damaged. This can
be very dangerous as it will reduce the efficiency of the vehicles braking power
and will also greatly damage the brake pads resulting in higher costs for
repairs.

ARMOX | Calipers

In a disc brake system, the caliper has an extremely important function. This is
the housing which sits around the disk portion of the braking system and
controls the motion of the brake pads. When the brake level is activated, the
calipers close around the rotor disc like a clamp, bringing the brake pads into
contact with the rotor disc and triggering the braking process.

Although the calipers do not directly come into contact with the brake rotor,
they must still withstand a great deal of pressure and strain thanks to the
tremendous amount of force which must travel through the braking system on
each usage. This is why ARMOX ensure that our brake calipers go above and
beyond in terms of reliability and performance, thanks to our stringent quality
control and testing regimens.
